Hey guys i am building a contemporary style sofa table with an elegant appeal and I am in need of some block style tapered legs that would accommodate a 4” drawer space. I am need of four legs 29” long and 4 – 21” in length.

preferably hardwood legs or either maple legs revealing slight spalting.

I was wondering if any of you had these lying around that you were willing to sell and/or maybe cut for me. Heck, doesn’t hurt to ask.

If you wouldn’t mind and you had time, you could post some pictures of same.

You can always check with Osborne Wood Products, they have a lot in stock and can also custom make some

Childress i am familiar with this outfit, not exactly what i was inquiring, I have researched online. I wanted to ask fellow woodworkers that might have extras lying around their shop. This would assist me and maybe even aid them in making one’s shop a little more tidy by purchasing the legs from them.

Furthermore, one of the reasons for asking, i have come across some treasures by doing this, one would never come across such treasures by visiting the bigger boys and buying from them. the heck with that

Gotcha! ;-)

Hopefully you can find what you want. Maybe also look through craigslist to see if anybody is selling lumber that might be a sawmill. Then you can ask if they would be interested in making you legs. Just a thought, but sure you already thought of that as well…Good Luck
