My daughter left the maple pie server I made for her in a raspberry pie and it coloured the server. She likes the colour and wonders if there is any harm in soaking the other utensils of the set to acheive the same colour. The utensils are 1 pce. hard maple with several cots of food safe mineral oil.

I would think ( but I do not know) that it would be okay provided she gave them time to completely dry out.

As far as I know it would be OK to do. I had something similar happen to a cutting board. It seems as time goes by the staining will fade.
