Topic tags/keywords: tulip tree wood for sale

Hey there from Western New York! I have 2 mature Tulip trees that i want to take down. Is there a market for the wood from these trees? I’m interested in selling them if so….. thanks for your input

Assuming you mean tulip (yellow) poplar? Yes there is a market but not for two standing yard trees. If you find someone to haul away the down trees for free you would be doing ok.

Poplar is an inexpensive hardwood. I’m paying $1.90bf. S3S in the Minneapolis area. Agree with jar944, You might try a Craigslist add and hope someone with a backyard mill may take them away for you.
