Topic tags/keywords: sawstop rails fence

Bought a new PCS 3HP on thursday and went to put it together tonight. When I went to put the rails on the holes did not line up. I check the box and it says its the PCS rails and not the CNS. However the pictures in the manual show the rails having two holes side by side as if to work on more than one saw but the rails I got only have one hole.

Will contact woodcraft in the morning but if they can’t help I guess it will be Monday before I can get support from sawstop. Has anyone else had or seen this issue. The Manual states Professional Series II. Are these by chance rails for the Series I that will not work on Series II.

Greg, did you find out the problem with the rails? I am afraid that I am suffering the same problem and would appreciate any guidance you may have. Thanks so much.

Yes the contractor saw rails are different from the cabinets models. The give me the wrong rails. They exchanged them.

You would think that for the amount of $$$ you pay for these tools they could at least make sure to put the right parts in the box. glad to hear they replaced them.

^Richard, I guess they figure why bother. You’re going to buy it anyway, afterall, right?
Sorry you had to deal with that, Greg. That’s a drag.
But congrats on your new saw!
