Has anyone had any experience with engraving or reproducing photographs onto wood? Contacted a few local engravers but all they do are sports placques etc. Would like to put a picture of my grandaughter on the front of a chest I am building for her.

Appreciate any suggestions.

I have seen this done with laser engravers. They do a really nice job. You will need to find someone who has that capability. If you go to you will see examples of pictures engraved into wood. They really are nice.

I take all my work to trophy shops. The only problem is the size of their lasers. If my boards are too big, they can’t do it. Other than that, I don’t see why they can’t. Unless there is special software needed to do photos.

I realize it is a bit late, but I have the ability to do this work. Email me if you are still considering it….........
