That’s a nice planer looks like you were cutting some alder. I can see the dust I have very good eyes.

Out of curiosity can the webbed extensions be removed?

My Uncle had one like that when I was a kid, got my fingers jammed once. His were removable and afterward he said it was a good excuse to make a table and replace them.

Rob, I guess you haven’t followed the Wood ID threads set up by AZWoody.

I have that saw also, but with only two wings. Don’t concern yourself about those wings if you practice common sense regularly. Don’t lose that miter guide. Here in Tucson, it’s worth more than you paid for the saw….... ... Jerry (in Tucson)

I have had this stand for years, and I am going to move this saw to it. Tell me if you can. Are the top and bottom platforms oriented properly, or does the top need to rotate 180 degrees? If I assume tjhe stand is correct, is the back to the left?
