The threaded stud broke off of the handle of my Woodriver Pen Press. Anybody have an idea as to what size and thread it is? I think I’m going to make my own replacement.

Do you have any left of the threaded stud? If so you can go to any hardware store and get the thread pitch and size. Then replace with correct size and make new handle. The correct size threaded rod inserted into a handle you make on the lathe and epoxy should be sufficient.

I have the broken stud, but it is VERY short. I know that this is a fairly common problem with this press, so I was hoping somebody with a similar experience could save me some time trying to identify the correct size.
