Interesting. There have been a couple other posts on LJ’s about this. The slow-mo video shows that the blade still completes 4.5 revolutions after the brake is applied. Probably enough to keep you from an amputation but not enough to prevent a serious injury.

Some serious competition to Sawstop tho as it appears that it can be made to fit virtually any tablesaw out there even a portable one which as I recall started the big debate over this type of technology in the 1st place. Kudo’s to the inventor.Hopefully this will wind up in the hands of someone less greedy as others and make it available to us common folk for a reasonable price.But it still won’t beat common sense when it comes to safety:)
