Topic tags/keywords: sale hand tools stanley sargent millers falls 45

I’ve got a number of random hand tools that need to find a better home. I’ve neglected these for a few years now, and it’s time they move on. Any questions PLEASE ASK

Preferred prices are listed but if you feel so inclined make an offer and we’ll see where we get from there. Unless noted otherwise, prices do not include shipping, so we’d have to figure that out. I only want to ship within continental US. Send a PM for offers or with any other questions. I’ve got a few more pictures of some of the items already, but can also get more. I’d also be more than happy to combine shipping/combine multiple items :-)

I would prefer PayPal, but can probably do cash or check too (local pickup if applicable) if I know you.

I’ll give it a little while here, then will probably hit craigslist and/or eBay

Thanks for checking them out.

A Type 2 Stanley #45. This plane is missing the depth stop and depth stop screw. The irons are fair, but the box for the irons is in rough shape. Also, one of the sliding skate screws has an extra slot cut into it.

$45

Type 8 or 9 Stanley #45 with irons.

$60

Partial set of Stanley #45 irons in box. It has the sash iron, and T&G, but I believe it’s missing one or two larger rabbet irons. They’re in fair shape, but one or two may have some pitting.

$30

Keen Kutter K5 jack plane. This one has a cambered iron, and is fairly sharp, and in decent shape. Previously cleaned up (not by me). This is the same castings as an older style Bedrock, before Stanley moved on to the flat sided castings.

I’d want somewhere in the neighborhood of $40 for it.

Another Keen Kutter K5 jack plane. This one hasn’t been cleaned up yet, and the horn on the tote is mostly broken off. This is an older version of the other one I have, short knob and smaller depth adjustment wheel. Again, this is the same castings as an older style Bedrock, before Stanley moved on to the flat sided castings.

I’d like around $25 for this one

Millers Falls No. 9C smoothing plane. Fair shape, but needs a cleaning.

$30

A damaged and [poorly] repaired Stanley #140. It’s really only good for the blade and wheel to tighten the cap, unless you have a cap that is either missing or very damaged. This one has a crack in it at the heel of the cap. It’s not very big, but it is there, so I’m noting it. It looks like a scratch in the 2nd picture. Also the carriage that moves to adjust the depth has also been broken and repaired.

It’s probably only worth about $30 to me.
I believe the irons go for about that on eBay.

Newer Stanley 110 block plane. The front knob is starting to check, but otherwise in good shape.

Maybe around $15

Hanson plumb bob.

Call it $5

Stanley #102 level. 14”, sweet heart logo. Bubble and glass are in tact.

$10?

Newer Sargent jack plane. Nothing that I’ve noticed that’s broken, just needs a cleaning.

$15

Sounds good, is that the one with or with out the sash iron? lol (I think with out, but I can get you more pictures if you want, or higher res versions)

Mos, put me down for the eggbeater. PM me the PayPal account, and I’ll shoot you the money, and we’ll worry about pickup some time after next week. I need an excuse to see your shop some time, right?
