I have for sale/trade a Grizzly G0548 2HP Dust Collector with Pleated Cannister Filter. The dust collector is in perfect working order and is about 3 years old. I am just trying to make room for a new 5HP cyclone. The current version is for sale at grizzly for $450 including shipping. http://www.grizzly.com/products/2HP-Canister-Dust-Collector/G0548Z.
I’m looking for $200, or other items of equivalent value. Thanks for Looking!

GRIZZLY’s DESCRIPTION: Want the ultimate dust collector in your shop? Then these powerful dust collectors are just what you need. Our canister filters have 6 times the filtering area of regular bags and have a built in cleaner. Simply move the convenient top mounted lever back and forth to any dust caked onto the filter, and in seconds you are back to full performance capacity. And the canister type filter allows filtering of the air to 1 micron with minimal loss of performance. Both units have a heavy-duty steel adapter that allow three 4” lines to be connected simultaneously. The steel duct from the impeller to the filter improves performance and reliability and with just a glance you’ll know when it’s time to haul out the chips thanks to the clear bottom bags. Extra bags ship with the machine and are available from us to really make cleaning easy.
•With the canister filter, simply turn the handle on the top a half turn in either direction to cleaning the canister •The handle controls three cleaning flappers inside and shakes the dust from the filter letting the fine dust fall directly into the collection bag •Clear plastic collection bag with quick clamp •Extra bottom bags included •Motor: 2 HP, 220V, single-phase •Blower/impeller: 12-3/4” balanced steel, radial fin •Air suction capacity: 1700 CFM •Static pressure: 10” •Sound rating: 74dB •6” inlet has removable “Y” fitting with three 4” inlets •Canister filter size (dia. x depth): 19-5/8” x 23-5/8” •Bag capacity: 5.7 cubic feet •Overall dimensions: 31-1/2”W x 37-3/8”L x 71”H •Approximate shipping weight: 155 lbs.

I just bought this model last month. Have it hooked up to two table saws and the jointer. Works great.

Someone should take this. It looks like a sweet machine. I would upgrade from my delta but New York is too far from you.

I agree! But that’s a little self serving isn’t it?
I’ll be flying through La Guardia next month. Do you think it could pass as a carry-on??!
I kind of hate to sell the machine. It has handled anything that I have thrown at it. The deal on a 5hp Oneida was just too good to pass up, though. I wish that I had room for both!

Good luck

Thanks for all of the comments guys. No takers yet.
I bought the collector in late 2007. Unfortunately, gainful employment and family responsibilities keep me from working in the shop very much. My free time and motivation only yield a few finished projects each year. That’s just a long way of saying that I don’t know for sure how many hours are on the machine, but it couldn’t be more than about 30-40 hours over that time.

How far are you from Huntsville, AL? I live in MS but have a job going in Huntsville and one in Birmingham. I could possibly be interested.

Hi, Thanks for the interest. Birmingham is 180 miles west of McDonough, GA mostly on I-20. Huntsville is 220 miles, but mostly state highways. I could meet you on the west side of Atlanta and save you about 50 miles one way.
