Topic tags/keywords: pin nailer water-based finishes

I have a Porter Cable pin nailer which does a great job. I have been using Porter Cable 23 gauge pins. Should I be concerned with rust from the pins if I use water based stains and finishes?

Haven’t had any problems using water based poly.

I use Senco and have never had a problem.
