Hey guys, I’m just starting out woodworking and have been keeping my eyes on Craigslist for any good deals. I don’t really have the excess money right now, but if this deal is good enough, I’ll scrounge up enough. I was planning on building my own thickness sander, but I like the idea of having one all ready to go instead of dealing with the trouble of building my own (I’m willing to sacrifice the fun of it if the price is right too).

Just looking for advice on pricing – read many reviews on this sander and it seems it would meet all my needs.

Thanks – the text from the ad is below:

Brand new in box. Never used. Performax 16-32 Plus drum sander. Includes optional stand and infeed/outfeed tables. Plus eight boxes of sandpaper belts (4 belts each) ranging from 24-220 grit worth >$200

EDIT TO ADD PRICE (thanks childress, forgot that part). Asking $400

Updated post to include price – whoops.

Also may have answered my own question after some more searching from this thread:

Makes me think I better jump on it at this price…....

Have your say...
