My cousin was cleaning out his garage and found this. The right side is in a track
And slides and on the left side of that there is a clamp that looks like it would
Hold a hand plane blade. I’m guessing it’s for dressing the sides of cedar shingles?

It looks like a chute board/plane set up, similar to the Stanley 51/52. Could be for shingles considering the short fence. Pretty cool find. I can’t quite make out the name but if you google it you may find a patent or two.

Just googled F Wesel Mag Co. They made equipment for the printing industry so your item might be some sort of printing plate or printing type trimmer.
