This is a question for JessEm Clear Cut Stock Guides owners.
I’m thinking about upgrading my router table. One of my considerations is adding the JessEm Clear cut stock guides but I have a question I have been unable to find an answer to. Do the guides hold the stock down tightly to the table as well as the fence?

Yes they pull the stock to the fence and push it against the table. The rubber wheels are canted toward the fence and unidirectional, directing the piece down and into the fence as it advances. The downward pressure is needed for these to work and is set when you place a piece of the stock to be routed under each of the guides and then tighten them before beginning your routing.

This is a question for JessEm Clear Cut Stock Guides owners.

I have JessEm Clear Cut Stock Guides on both my table saw and router table. I love them. Stock is better held in place and I can safely cut longer stock

A truly great product.

I agree, they are a great product – just wanted to add that the wheels actually have a ‘one-way’ bearing, they will only rotate in one direction, which I thought was a nice safety feature

Between the JessEms and the Grriper I no longer have trepidation around my TS after I had 2 kickbacks in a year to the ribs but not in the 2 years since I bought these.

Thank you all. Tonight picked up a Bench Dog cast iron router table top and fence and an Incra router lift. My plan is to build my own table as (I think) an out feed table on my cabinet saw. Still trying to figure out the best position. The JessEm clear cut guides will definately be included.
