I was browsing through the forum and came across a review on the 6” HF jointer. http://lumberjocks.com/reviews/1762 It didnt get that bad of a review and in only $299. wITH MY 20% OFF ABOUT $240. Would i be better off buying a name brand benchtop jointer or the HF one, for about the same price?

I have the HF jointer. It works fine for me. I’m able to use it to staighten stock before thicknessing. Of coarse, if you want this to be your first and last jointer your probably better off saving your money and buying a higher end name brand.
