I am upgrading to a Delta Unisaw 3HP with 52” fence tomorrow and so my trusty Ridgid R4512 tablesaw will need to find a new owner. I don’t think my saw has the alignment issues that some complain about with this model, at least I have not noticed it. It’s in “good” condition. There are some spots on the table but no actual damage. I have all the original accessories like the anti-kickback pawls and blade guard and such.

I was thinking of asking about $400, would that be too much?

Research Craigslist.

.. With all due respect, what was the point of that comment?

Of course I have checked craigslist. That’s the first thing I did. The second thing was to check ebay for ‘completed listings’. Having exhausted those two options, I turned to the forum here.

I can’t read your mind. No where did you say you researched Craigslist. Just trying to help…

I sold my R4511 on craigslist for $375 (originally asked $400). That’s my local market but I think you’re at a good starting point.

Good luck with your sale and enjoy that new unisaw.

The local BORG has new ones for $529... so $400 might be a tad much (general rule of thumb for used is 50% of new price)... but it wouldn’t hurt to put it out there and see if you get any nibbles. If not, you can always lower the price.

Cheers,
Brad

Thanks. I am under the impression that the granite top version is “better”, so I guess asking @ $350 for starters is probably good.

The 4511 does not suffer from the arbor alignment problems the 4512 has. I’d start with $350 and take the first $325 someone offers you.
