To all Hooiser woodworkers ….I live out in Greencastle and am interested in starting a Woodworking club here in central Indiana. I would like to form a group that could meet once a month or so at one of our workshops and work on a specific woodworking technique. Kinda like a wine of the month club but the host woodworker would come up with a subject on woodworking and explain and teach those techniques and tricks to the rest of the group. It could help us all become better woodworkers. Let me know your thoughts; where you are located, and if you want to be involved.

Thanks

Steve

I’m in Avon not too far from you. Did you know that there is a woodworking group called Central Indiana Woodworkers? The meet once a month just south of I465 on US31 south, their website is http://ciww.org/
Also, there is a Central Indiana Woodturners group that meets in Zionsville. their site is http://www.cicaaw.org/
I have belonged to both but would be interested in a small group setting on the west side if Indianapolis.

Steve

I am very much interested, but even though I do use some power tools, my interests would be primarily in hand tools. Making mouldings by hand, improving joinery techniques, marquetry, veneer applications, etc.

I just posted a similar topic
