I am in search for a pellet/corn stove for my shop. For those that have one, which brand and how do you like it? I need one that will heat a drafty 1800 sqft, whith 11’ ceilings. The whole building is close to 6000 sqft.

I am also in the market and will be using one along side a conventional wood stove to use when I am in the shop working. I am looking at a few stoves and will be choosing one that can burn both wood and corn. I am also looking into making my own pellets from sawdust by pressing it with some stabilizers.

Is it resonable to make your own pellets? Which ones are you looking at?

I would love a wood stove in the shop but…......I would never get insurance if they knew, if I did it without the insurance company knowing and had a fire….....I wouldnt be covered.

Roman , does that cover the pellet stoves too in your area?
I’m thinking for placing one as an auxillary to defray the nat gas costs in my new shop.
