Topic tags/keywords: slow response connection upload

Is anyone else experiencing slow responses on this site ?
I see a lot of comments double posted and I can only assume that it is because others get tired of waiting for their comments to upload as well , and hit the send button repeatedly.
I realize that our wonderful site has become overwhelmed with new members and is therefore busier than ever : )
Can anything be done to speed up the connections ?
I already have high speed internet connection here on my end and I have tried different browsers as well , in case you’re wondering. : )
Thanks and have a great day !

I posted a project, and it took awhile. Went to add another, I can’t get past the previous one. Even clicking on your post took awhile while. Systems all around seem SLOW today, even other sites.

works pretty fast for me. did you have your coffee today already? ;)

you may want to clear the cache on your browser and restart it, or restart your computer all together.

I tried to upload a tool review yesterday and had to quit and come back later.

It is January and I’m betting some one poured molasses in the crank case. Guess I’ll go back over to Sawmill Creek until it speeds up.

I lost my old home page a few weeks ago, my passwork would not work. I had lj send me a new password 4 times and it would still say it was incorrect. I emailed and the only solution they came up with was to restart home page and I lost all my old info. Other than that no problems lol. Love the people and the sight, just having some growing pains I suspect.
