I’m sure there are many LJ’s in Irma’s path. I pray that they are safe and will come home to their workshop as they left it. I lived through Katrina in 2005 and thank God, I was spared.

Florida is freaking out… Keys have been evacuated, as has most of the low lying and coastal areas in S. Florida. Even all the way up into the panhandle, the stores are selling out of everything from water to bread and gas. It’s gonna be a whopper, and traffic is slowing the evacuation. I stayed in my house in Cutler Ridge (two blocks away from where President Bush came to see the damage after it was over), which caught the northern eye wall as it went over us. I survived. House didn’t (and we went without electricity for almost 6 months). 25 years later and I still can’t sleep when there is just a bad rain storm passing through. It leaves a lasting impression for sure.

Stay safe everyone – and if you are in a danger zone – get the funk out of there!

Cheers,
Brad

Panic has set in here in Atlanta. Several places out of gas and other normal items.
