I just came from HD (I live in Chattanooga, Tn) and they had Columbia Forest PureBond brand 4×8 ply for a decent price, at least around here.

Oak 1/2” $41.97
Oak 3/4 $44.97
Birch 1/2” $42.97
Birch 3/4” $44.97

I could not find any ply made in China, but they has some 3/4 from Ecuador for about $25 that I would use in the shop/garage.

I did not have time to sort through any of it but will go back and get some of the birch to have in stock for future projects.

I usually get my Columbia ply from another local dealer, but at these prices I may have to give some cash to HD. (ouch)

The Ecuador stuff (Arauco) is pretty good ply for around the shop. Splinters like crazy on crossgrain operations but other than that, fairly stable. The A face finishes nicely…

I’m hesitant to try hardwood ply from the Borg again. Too many voids on my last attempt with birch ply.

I used Columbia products to redo my kitchen cabinets and had an excellent experience with their ply.
