When I go to a posting that has photos, I get this message: Please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting. Never used to get it, but now it’s on many different posts. What am I missing?

Photobucket started charging… broke a lot of sites.

Photobucket.com has recently changed its terms of service for free users on their platform. As of June 20th, images hosted by Photobucket and shared on our forum, or any other 3rd party sites, will no longer appear. As a result, you may notice a higher amount of broken images on the forum.

Thanks for the info, everyone. Sounds like Photobucket just got greedy.

Does this mean that the pictures can no longer be retrieved?
Do I have to buy a subscription to Photobucket to view the pictures?
Are there any other ways to view the pictures?

It is only something that can be fixed by the person who posted the images using a 3rd party hosting company.
