Roger home | projects | blog 37 posts in 1304 days 641 days ago	Topic tags/keywords: file rasp nicholson 50 49 carving tool I have a huge collection of rasps and files of which the Nicholson #50 is definately one of the best (It’s a tie with Auriou rasps from France) it took me a long time to purchase the #50 due to it’s high price but eventually I found a deal and did. I never regreted that purchase and have since purchased two more after loosing one and finding a sale on them. I now see that that place has them again on sale and will pass the link on to you and I would highly reccomend getting one, they are selling the #50 for $37.06 and the #49 for $31.00 (I suggest getting the #50). I’m working on a “Maloof inspired” rocker along with my friend who happens to own two Woodcraft stores and just bought a new replacement 49 and 50. These prices are about $20 less than standard retail. And, I agree that Nicholson’s are some of the best.
