Hi, Just joined because I am at a loss with the design for the mechanism for a refractory dining table. Any one know where I can obtain either a mechanism or plans that show how to make. I’m thinking of a floating top table with 18 to 24 inch leaves on each end that pull out and lift up flush with the top. Thanks for any help. Steve Elles

Those designs have been in Fine Woodworking. Tage Frid did one, as I recall. That’s a small help, but it might get you closer.
