Going tomorrow to look at a 20” swing Walker Turner drill press, complete save the pulley cover. Anyone know of anything outside the normal that I should look for on this particular dp?

Not particular to that DP, but in general, you want to find it as complete as possible with no missing, broken or otherwise damaged parts. Cleaning and painting is easy… finding parts, not so much (and can get rather expensive pretty fast). I wouldn’t worry too much about crunchy bearings or a stubborn action… you will want to clean and lube it good before putting it into use, as well as replace the bearings (quill, spindle and motor) and belt at a minimum.

Looks to be in pretty good condition, which is a good sign. The belt cover is wonky, but that doesn’t effect it’s use.
