Well just a few words to let you know Alistair Scotsman is still alive and getting back to both my woodshop and machinist shop again. I wrote here about a year ago and could not get logged on. Anyway I am ploughing away day to day and am going quite deaf and have to wear two hearing aids. A few years ago I was told by my family I was shouting a lot instead of speaking so anyway still shouting and I am always surprised when anyone tells me. LOL Be coming back soon hope I am still welcome love all you guys Alistair

Good to hear you are doing well. My poor hearing is a blessing some days when forced to listen to some sorry story at work. Or being called to do something I am not interested in doing. LOL

Altair!

I can hear you all the ways from here!

Glad to hear you!

Glad you’re still kicking… and getting stronger day by day…

Your hearing will be OK… Have you checked your ears for wax buildup? An easy fix if needed…
... worked for me…

Thank you for logging on & speaking to us!

Good to hear from you, Alistair. I’m glad you’re still doing your thing in the shop.
Hearing problems can be caused by not wearing hearing protection when woodworking I know. I hope others will take note and take the time to protect your hearing.

You guys and I speak from the heart are amongst just the most wonderful human beings err read spiritual beings LOL you have always made my dark days fill with hope and purpose once again. Bronwen has to basically use a walking frame to get around and does not get around much. We have been together for forty seven years and married for forty six since I was just nineteen I proposed to her within three days and here we still are devoted to each other . I, as you know have three wonderful sons whom I also live for and a daughter in law and two grandchildren Reuben and Rhiannon . However my whole life does and has long since relied heavily on making stuff in both shops There is barely never a day I don’t at least just sit there and be comforted spiritually amongst my machines and projects. I can only write now small pieces so excuse me for that and very much extend all my families love and god’s blessing by reminding us we are all part of the divine splendour of gods love

Good news Alistar! We too are scheduled for our 47th in a few days. Where did the time go?

You will get used to the hearing aids. The normal drill is they tell you you are talking too loud. When you talk lower, they say they can’t hear you.

Glad to hear that you are getting back in the shop and hanging in there. One of these days I’ll brew a batch of Meade to celebrate. You have 47, I’ll have 40 years strong with my better half.

Good to see you back and posting. “All these new people”, as Monte says, just don’t know you, is all, I think. This place has gotten big, I will say!
