Topic tags/keywords: more wood Picked up the second half of the wood today from the guy that had to quit. He was sad to see the last of it go on the truck, but I showed him pictures of my woodworking and that helped him by knowing it will be used for good projects. I gave away one of the burls and a couple pieces of quilted maple the other night. My offer still stands for any local Jocks to contact me and I will share some of this wood with them. Here is a couple pics of the whole lot in my garage. |

Ok I have two questions, maybe more. The two long boards with the hidden dovetails? Thoughts on what those were for and species? And second, tell us more about that saw hidden in amongst the nice lumber score.. -- Gary, Texas |

Not sure about the dovetailed boards yet, with Harvey coming in just had time to get it unloaded and in the garage. There were some moldings in the rafters of his shop, when getting them down, we found 2 old wooden 5’ clamps and the 2 man saw. He said If I wanted them to take them, otherwise put them back in the rafters with the light bulbs for the next owner. Uhhhhhh…...I didn’t leave them behind. That saw is super sharp but I haven’t had time to really look to see what brand or model number may be on it. I’ll post about them later. The head and foot boards are standing beside the side rails in that one picture. The side rails have holes every few inches that the rope threaded through. That one piece is 4’ X 5’ walnut table top, that is made of 3 pieces of wide wood. |

Picture #4 shows the ends of the clamps right over top of the saw in the truck. |
