Is it possible to post photos on this forum without using Photobucket? If not, does anyone have some information on how to use that website? I find it slow, frustrating and not obvious.

Thanks for your help!

Use the “img” button to select photos from your device.

Bill, if the image is saved on your computer, click the “img” tab. Then you “choose file” from where you have it in your computer and “insert the image”. That’s it.

Step 1
Click on the “img” icon.

Step 2
Click on the “Choose File” button.

Step 3
Browse on your device for the image you want to upload. Click to select it.

Step 4
Click the “Insert this image” button. It will automatically add the code for your image.

Yesterday, when replying to an LJ post from my tablet, there was a graphic with a bunch of options for picture hosting including Photobucket. I’ve never seen that graphic before and I don’t know why it only appeared once but it should probably be amended. It was right above or below the formatting reference link.

Yes, there is a photo bucket tab under the post block…. right next to an,”I need more room” tab and an “open mini-browser” tab on the quick reply box.

Cricket, that had to be tricky turning those horns on your lathe, did you use a Spalted Maple?

Probably accidentally hit the “pictures & video friendly” link up at the top:

OK, following up on this thread, how do you make sure the photos are rotated the right way? All mine are turned 90 degrees.
