I looked at my Bies and didn’t see anything for a height adjustment. Then I found my original instructions and there was nothing about height adjustment. However, it mentions when setting up the rail that the height of the rail is critical when using the fence. But that’s about it. Sorry -- Don |

I’ve still got my template for the angle height adjustment from my Delta contractor saw. What if I put it on the copy machine, scanned it in and emailed you the copy of the um, copy. |

That little cardboard thingy … that’s the ticket. You need that to set the height of the rail. However, it won’t help if it’s an after market purchase. What saw do you have …. I still have my cardboard thingy someplace. I could make a copy of it too. -- Don |

Per the Biesemeyer BC30/BC50 Fence system, the assembly instructions say: ‘ASSEMBLY (FOR ALL OTHER SAWS) There are different instructions covering the different saw brands but all of them say to use the pre-drilled holes or make sure the top surface of the front rail is 2 & 27/32” below the surface of the table. That’s the measurement I used for both the front and back rails. Use a combination square to set the height close to 2 & 27/32 and you will be good to go. Be certain the rail is parallel to the table top. Instead of the Bies rear rail, I used a piece of 2” x 2” 1/4 angle iron. If you do that you have to make sure it will clear the guards and cut away for the mitre slots. What saw are you installing the Bies on? I’ll check for anything specific about your brand. -- Trees, a wonderful gift --Joe-- |
