Looking for recomendations for a blade. The one it came with is not good at making good 45 degree corners. I have an awful time getting them tight. The saw seems OK, for what it’s worth buit I was wondering if a better blade would help me improve my cuts.

In general the stock blades that come with a table saws, miter saws and band saws are not top quality blades. A good quality blade will produce a much better cut- assuming, of course, that the saw itself is tuned and ready to go.

I have a Hitachi slider that I put a Forrest Chopmaster blade on several years ago and it is still cutting just fine.

Thanks for the reply Scott.
However, I seem to be resisting the idea of buying a blade that cost more than the saw.
I cleaned the old one and it worked better.
Then I put on a 10” 24 tooth thin kerf Freud blade, had this one around from my TS, and it made a much better cut.
I also did some more work in getting the 45 degree tuned in better.
