Hi all,
I am a sawyer in Southwest Michigan and I have too much lumber again and I need a bandsaw, another planer, and another jointer. Currently I have too much red oak, cherry, Ash, and spruce. I guess that is the drawback of having a green tag certified forest, two mills, and a kiln.

Hi bigike,
Well what are you buying? :) I sell lumber regularly, but I really do find it more fun to swap. Personal preference I guess. It is cool to point at stuff like my table saw and know exactly what I had to mill and kiln to trade for it.

Wish you were closer…I’d buy, but would need my tools to work it. :(

That is a nice spalted board…droool!

Ah the pain to much wood and not enough time. you are very fortunate here in NEB. we have to import everything except grass and cows.

Thanks for the words of support Hoakie, The spalt is just one of hundreds I have laying around. I like corn and cows, used to raise both. As for burls Roper, I have black Ash and a Huge Maple burl I haven’t milled yet. I have alot of turning stock and I can ship in flat rate USPS boxes. Here is a cherry turning block 12”x12”x4”. E-mail me if your interested.

Well, Rich, we’ve got five hungry molders and they’re starving to death. Just send some of it our way and we’ll turn it into molding and shavings. You do like molders don’t you? :)

Hi helluvawreck,
I like moulders, in fact enough to have a little woodmaster 718 that I used to trim my entire house in QS sycamore, rope curl cherry, spalted maple, walnut, red oak, white oak… Each room is a different species. Where are you located? I can always swap for services… :)
