Topic tags/keywords: question

Is there a way to organizing my favorited items?

I am thinking like creating folders that I could give a name to and then move certain items to those folders.

Is there a way to delete a favorited item from my list.
If I add somthing by mistake or have already built that project and no longer need the link.

There is currently no way to create folders for favorites. To remove a favorite, just click on the favorite to visit a page of the favorited item and then click on My Favorite button and ‘remove from favorites’ link.

Thanks Martin.
It would be great to have that functionnality. There a lot of good stuf on this site and the list get pretty long.
Otherwise, like topMax said we will need to index :)

I would love this function also.

I have so many favorites that this would be really helpful. In fact I mght need folders for the folders!

Why not bypass the LJ-Favorites function and start ”bookmarking” your LJs Favorites in your Internet browser? You can build multi-layer folders there and I bet many of you have already done so with other types of favorite pages/sites. Just saying…

Good point Mike – I guess for me I got mentally locked into using LJs for the solution.

It occurs to me that if I did that I might not Favorite anything here on LJs. Favorites is one way we can sort projects. I think it is also part of how a project makes it onto the “Hot Projects” pages.

Hmmm, not sure I want to stop identifying projects as Favorties, but maybe I’ll start using my browser as well if I really want to sort things a bit.

Might still be a nice feature here (if Matrin wants to work that hard …) – I would still prefer it, but I do have an alternate solution.
