I’m not sure but in the img button it says you can post a URL from the web. I’m going to give that a try from my Flicker sight right now. I might not work …. lets see.

Edit.. the photo didn’t show up.. :( ... Back to the drawing board. I know if I save photos to my computer I can post them but I guess I’ll have to work on getting the ones from the web to work. Maybe someone will chime in and help..

I Just tried this and it worked. I have Flickr and I can share a photo or copy the embed code and past it here to add a photo. papadan said Photobucket won’t allow this so maybe you should try Flickr!

Edwin, photobucket has stopped allowing shared pictures unless you pay them a high price for service. You need to download the pictures to your device and then post them from there to here.

I would not recommend it. Back in the old days Photobucket was the main way that we posted non-project pics. Photobucket did change their policy so you have to pay a premium price to have your pics linked to by a site like Lumberjocks. Just go look at any of my blogs and you will see broken links.

But if you must, here is how to do it. Just put the following link with an exclamation point on either end.

Scrap the photobucket idea. It is a PITA !Just hit browse and pick the photos from your computer file.

When you are in a screen such at this, hit the IMG button above and it will give you a browse screen just like if you are adding the 6 photos to a project.

It is like this, I hit img ( image) . Then I hit browse, pick a photo from my computer and double click on it and then hit insert the image. And here it is!

I thought I had to always use photobucket. I never knew what the img button was for! Photobucket would take my pictures and put them all over the place in my photobucket file and I gave up on it. It is too cumbersome anyway!

Cheers, Jim

If you take pics from your phone they have to be in landscape or they will come out sideways.

Never knew about the img button. Way easier than photobucket. And cheaper. And faster.

Seems to be mostly iphone owners who complain about it. I tested some android and windows phones several months back and the only way I could get a phone to post sideways was if I had the orientation locked to portrait, or if I took a picture with the camera icon oriented differently than the phone (which is possible if you are looking down taking a picture or are at an angle so the phone is tricked). If you want to test your phone, make the sure the orientation is unlocked or automatic and take a picture of something on a wall or shelf so you don’t have to tilt the phone. Watch the camera icon and make sure it is oriented normal like below.
