Over the past few days I have been having problems getting to LJ’s and been getting replies that the server in not accessible or that it times out. Anyone else? Is this something because of changes to Escalate Media, or too many people on LJ’s at the same time?

I had SEVERAL hours, last night, where I couldn’t get on.

Changed computers. Changed browsers. Nothing helped.

I was able to “Ping” the site, but … I couldn’t get access TO it.

I sent an e-mail to one of the EscalateMedia guys—listed as the technical contact for the website. No response.

I’ve been okay, today, though, and …. fairly late last evening.

You been having problems … recently ??

I could not get on last night at all. Twice today it took several minutes before I could “get back” on.

Several hours yesterday and a couple times earlier in the week. Yesterday it wasn’t just from one computer. Tried three so I know it wasn’t my antique desktop at home…

Yes! Like Brian’s though. Never had more than a few minutes.

Must be server maintenance. We should all boycott by not paying our membership dues! Oh wait… :)

I dunno Mike. Seems to me the only cure for withdrawal symptoms is to remove the withdrawal. :)

I, too, have had this happen several times over the last few days.

I had the same problems. It seems that the search function is off as well.

The outage was not just LJs. The same problem was seen trying to access the sister sites GardenTenders and HomeRefurbers. Probably they are all on the same server.

I went to where the link to LJs is on EscalateMedia and there was no information. I would think that when one of the sites owned by them is offline, there would be some sort of notice.

Too many people on…...When Martin re-opened the registration back up, we went from 22, 639 to 23, 369 as of right now…........ that’s 730 more folks in the last 48 hours, and nearly all of them are on…..I’m just saying, that could be the problem, or may not be.
