I probably have spent over $1k at Lee Valley in the last 5 years. Always disfavored the length of shipping time. Thankfully, they will be operating a west coast distribution center to help alleviate that issue. Great! Also, it’s in the works to do Will Call (purchase online and pick up in person) if lucky enough to be in the area… also some scratch and dent sales every so often. Just wanted to toss this out there.

Fantastic. It has been taking 7-8 days to California. This new distribution center should cut that to about 2-3.

Yes, I heard about this last month. I am in Las Vegas, and having a west coast outlet is going to be nice.
Just placed and order last week for $25 worth of hardware and yes. 10 day to get it on ups tracking.

Ordered a rabbet plane from them in June it still hasn’t arrived. This distribution center is nice news but they need to make sure the people who actually build their stuff aren’t incompetent, which has been the case with their blades. Three month backlog is nuts.

Seems anything with the PMV-11 iron is back order and always in short supply!
Have a store about 45 mins away so not going to look at my order history just in
case the wife catches a glimpse.
There darn free shipping events always seem to suck me into clearing the wish list!
