What kind of nails are these?

I found a handful of these in my shop.
For the life of me I cannot remember what they’re for…

If I found them, I’d think they were “L” shaped hanging hooks. They appear to have a square-nail style of cross section. Thus, it’s an early american, or colonial, looking hanger, to me.

Can’t really tell the scale of those… smaller L-nails like those are used for Danish cording on furniture…
