Does anyone know where Woodturning Online is located. I’ve been all over their site, and didn’t see anything that resembled a physical location…...... Please help if you can…........... Jerry (in Tucson)

It looks like the Woodturning Online website is operated by Dennis Daudelin, also the publisher of ’More Woodturnng’, an online magazine ( http://www.morewoodturningmagazine.com/ ).

The business address is listed as:
12728 Fontana Loop
Lakewood Ranch, FL 34211
Phone: 508-838-1933

Bill, I’m already a subscriber. I just needed some way to contact them, and if it’s current, The Dane just gave me that info.

Thanks, Gerry, formally of/from Tucson. ............ Jerry (in Tucson)

Nice to know, hope they get rid of many old articles no longer available. Though more woodturning was owned by someone else at one time. Forget the man’s name he used to post lot on many old message boards and well respected woodturner.

Fred Holder was the man that used to run More Woodturning! Not sure what happened to him.

Fred Holder passed away July 24, 2016 at the age of 85. Quite a remarkable guy … here is his obituary: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/goanacortes/obituary.aspx?pid=180968096

Sorry to hear Fred died, enjoyed a lot of articles written by Lyn Mangiameli. Lyn mangiameli also wrote many articles for fine woodworking, after getting sick not so many woodturning articles.

Both Fred & Lyn were advocates for Nova lathes. Lyn was the better writer explaining how to convert old Nove 3000 to EVS and later early DVR lathes. If wanted an unbiais turning tool review Lyn wrote better articles.

Fred shared a lot of articles written by himself and other turners online free which cannot find anymore. If wanted to know who was who in world of woodturning Fred introduced you to them. If needed to know anything about woodturning Fred got you in touch with knowledgeable people on that subject.

I have never heard of Fred, but if Bill’s description of him is correct, he was a person to be admired and would have loved to have met him. Thanks, Bill, I’m going to look him up this afternoon when I have spare time.

Gerry, I contacted Woodturning Online, and Dennis Daudelin has already posted my website onto his site… Thanks for the information, guys. ................. Jerry (in Tucson)
