This is a B& D “Shorty Drill” BP, 2500 rpm., cat. number is somewhat obscured- 2_7 (?), type BP. 115 volt-10 amp., 2500 rpm.
Got it at a sale, and it runs. Gets pretty hot after a bit.
I would like to have it rebuilt for use, but B&D won’t touch it.
Any of you guys want to tackle this project? I just can’t seem to get it apart.
Sure would be a plus to have this puppy runnin’ as it should.
Not planning on using it as a daily use drill, but just being able to have it working well would be a plus.
Serial # is 3783278.
Paddle type switch, keyed chuck, 1/4” max. jaws.
Just can’t see myself junking this old fellow ‘cause it gets warm.
Certainly no rush on the lead time.
Bill
