Hey Everyone,

I have the good fortune of moving into a new place with room for a shop.

My first need is a new table saw. I have been surfing Craigslist looking for a used saw and am getting nowhere. I am really out in the sticks.

I have searched the form for current recommendations and found the same discussion but 2-3 years old.

What can you all recommend as the best table saw for $1000 or less?

I was looking at the Grizzly G0771Z but am concerned about some of the QC troubles with that saw.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

S.

I have had a Unisaw for 20+ years and I can say it’s been great. I have seen cabinet makers shops and hobbyist selling them from 800-1000. I think I paid $1600 20 years ago.

I fear you will have QC problems with any $1000 saw.

You’ll just be buying trouble if your table saw isn’t what you need it to be.

I am not sure what happened to my thread but it appears that it has duplicated.

I did wind up with a used Unisaw. See the thread referenced above.

Thanks
