Topic tags/keywords: dock brackets

I’m trying to figure out the best way to make some custom support brackets for the dock im building for my brother. These brackets will be hidden underneith the dock and will be attaching two 4×10 frames together made out of 2×8’s. I’ve attached a picture of the dock layout and bracket dimensions I’ve come up with so far. I need some ideas from my favorite pros though.

Thanks
Eric

These are just angle plates and flat plates? Freshwater or salt?

Yes those that are shown are but I wont be using those types. These will need to be coming from the underneath not the side. The support poles that you see will be welded to the bottom of the brackets.
