Everyday is getting a little better. I have appreciated the words of encouragement that I’ve received from my friends on the forum. It is nice to know that total strangers are praying for you. I’ve managed a little shop time this weekend. It was easy stuff as I already had one of my chairs ready to assemble so I did get that done. (I’ve got a blog going on the whole production if you’d be interested.)

I’ve been cruising around the site a bit and my goodness, things have grown and the projects just keep getting better and better. I’ve missed a lot while I was out. Will take some time to get caught up on what has been added to the site.

I’m having a hard time getting over this stuff that I’m dealing with but I’m at about 50% and climbing – so hopefully another couple of weeks and I’ll feel like my old self. Hopefully that will mean I’ll be doing more in the shop.

Anyway, I wanted to take a minute to thank you guys for your encouragement and kind words. I hope to be on the site a little more as I continue to get better.

Thanks again.

Glad to hear you’re on the mend! Be careful not to over-do it!

Thanks guys. I’m trying. Sometimes its one step forward and two steps back. But I’ll eventually get there.

Betsy, I’m not commenting on your age but mine.

I have had a few medical problems in the last 4 years. I find that it takes me about 5 times longer to recuperate than it did 20 years ago. And I’ve also learned that the body will heal at its rate, not at your wish of how fast it will heal.

What a bummer.

Hi Betsy,

Take care of yourself. That is your number 1 priority. You will be in my prayers.

Thanks for the good thoughts all. I’ve been puttering a little bit. But today it’s jigsaw puzzle day – nice and sedate. I’ve been lurking in the background watching all the projects and posts and I’m still amazed by the quality of work, the wealth of information shared, the civility, the lack of bad language (hardly even any &^&’s), but most of all still just amazed at the quality of people who make up LJ’s. It’s truly an amazing forum.
