I am in the process of restoring a vintage Delta 14” combination wood/metal bandsaw. My immediate question is that the tires are cracked and in need of replacement. The 14” wheels are flat with raised edges. The belt sits between the raised edges. Can someone please advise me as to whether the original tires can be replaced with crowned neoprene tires, or if flat neoprene tires are available, or what my options may be? Also any leads on where to obtain replacement parts in general would be appreciated. Thanks!

The wheels should have a crown in them, so you should not need to crown the tires once installed. Are you sure yours are flat? As for parts… depends on what you need.

Cheers,
Brad
