A couple of weeks ago I picked up a Makita Li-Ion impact driver and drill kit (okay, stealth gloat). I have been making much use of the impact driver this weekend, and I have already managed to blow-apart two Phillips driver bits. Either I am doing something wrong, or I should have invested more money in bits.

Question is, are there special bits for use with an impact driver? If so, what do I look for when I go to the borg to pick up some of these things.

Thanks for the input.

I would say for the price, get a expensive one and an inexpensive one and test them for yourself.
Maybe even something in the middle.

That should tell you what you need to know.

Then you can let us know!
