I got The Workbench pdf download. I'm not sure that was such a great idea, because now I'm going to be drooling all over myself until I build a fancy pants workbench.
I love the picture on the front of "Identifying Wood." I always want to add the caption-"Yup, that's wood!" I get a laugh out of it every time I see the cover.
Seriously, though, Leonard Lee's "The Complete Guide to Sharpening" is in that list for $11.48. This is one of the absolute best books about how to sharpen just about everything under the sun, and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that doesn't have a sharpening book. This is a GREAT price for a wonderful reference book that just about every woodworker should own.
Napaman, don't think, just do. Seriously, this is one you will not regret! I do like Ron Hock's sharpening book better, but Lee's is absolutely fantastic, and is probably a more complete reference. I just liked Hock's style and section on steel better, but the two books definitely cover the same material. I wrote a little blurb about these books a little bit ago.
I paid full price for a bunch of the titles that are on clearance, and would gladly recommend some of them at full price. The one goody that I am picking up is the Sam Maloof DVD for $10. I mean really, how can you go wrong with that??
keep going…if we can save people money and they can learn something via the books!!! AWESOME…that is why i posted the sale link…
