Topic tags/keywords: miter saw blade square 12

Hey guys I’m having an issue squaring my miter saw. When the saw is pushed all the way to back of the fence i get consistent straight cuts. When the arm is fully extended (towards me) the cut is thrown off 1/4”.

I doubt its the blade since there is no shaking. Current blade is a Diablo 12” 80 tooth

Ive gone over the assembly a few times now but cant seem to find where the issue is.

Closest Bosch service center is over 2 hours away. I will be getting a from a tech by Monday but would like it fixed before then if possible.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have that same saw and I don’t have that problem. I did have to adjust the for square initially but it has been okay since then. You may very well have a defective saw.

If you adjust for square with the blade extended all the way and then cut a narrow piece, is it off?

is there a way to adjust the blade while fully extended? I’ve looked over the instructions but dont see a clear way to do this.
