Hey Jocks,

I am designing to build a shadow box for a friend of mine…He is a Capt in the Navy. I was wondering if any of you out there would know the dimensions of a folded 4’ x 6’ flag? I have googled it, binged it, and yahooed it. I can’t find anything. This would help me get the design done and built before the flags get here. ( they are hand made and take 4 weeks for delivery).

Thanks all for reading and light you can shed on this topic.

I think this is what you are looking for.

4’ x 6’ flag (triangle folded) dimensions …

Approx: 17 1/2” (wide) x 12 1/4” (sides) x 8 7/8” (tall)

Thanks dane,

Would you happen to know the same dimensions for a 3×5?

Not positive, but 3’ x 5’ flags (folded) would be about 13.5” x 7”.

The 3’ x 5’ flags are cheap enough … I would suggest picking one up at a home center for a couple of bucks just top be sure.
