Topic tags/keywords: question resource

Got a center island project where I want to have a drawers that can be accessed on either side of the island.

The customer desires the base cabinet to have doors on either side of the island and two shelves for pots and pan storage that can be pulled out on either side. I am toying with the idea of using a metal plate to fasten two drawer slides together in opposing directions, but I really don’t want to go through the time and effort to design and make such a system.

Anyone know where I can find good quality full extention drawer slides that will allow for this?

That could be a great thing, but I have never seen them in 35 years of carpentry…

I have used the Accurides and as I recall they extend less than 3/4. Still a cool piece of hardware though.
