I am interested in making my own acrylic pen blanks. Does anyone know where to get the materials necessary to achieve this?

You could try a craft store.

Penn State Industries has a kit in their catalog. Type “cast-a-kit” in the search box on their website. Part # PKCASTKT. Also Craft Supply has it on their webiste, #497-0101 Apprentice Casting Kit. Cheaper at Craft Supply.
