I just got a Taskmaster Wood Copy Lathe model WL-4 from a friend but can not find any information on the lathe. If anyone know anything about this model lathe or where I can get information PLEASE let me know.

It looks like a duplicate (pardon the pun) of the Harbor Freight cheapie I bought, with a duplicator. The hollow tube rails won’t stand up and it can’t be made stable.

I bought a cast iron Grizzly a few months later and never looked back. Perhaps you could save and adapt the duplicator.

I agree that it is not the heaviest machine that I have but the price was right. I got a set of craftsman lathe tool with it. Maybe it will work for a couple of small projects.
