I’m making my own drill press table and am getting ready to make the fence. Saw many YouTube vids where the fences were approx 3 to 3.5” tall. How do people use these taller fences and not hit the fence with the handles on the chuck wheel? I have to lower my table almost to the lowest limit of quill travel to avoid this. I have one of the Porter Cable presses btw.

mine is only about 1/2” high. Works for most of the stuff I’m drilling and never gets in the way.
